Welcome to Avon Hockey Club!
The Avon Hockey Club is situated in the eastern suburbs of Christchurch, however we draw members from all over the city We also welcome out of town students studying at Lincoln & Canterbury Universities and ARA Polytechnic. We offer hockey to players of all abilities from a keen beginner to experienced and representative players. Although the game is important to us, it's not just about the hockey. The Avon Hockey Club prides itself on its family environment. We offer hockey to both senior our junior players. Our senior players compete in the CPL, Div 1-3, (includes youth grades). From our Avon Hockey committee, we hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break!! We are currently in the process of brewing up another great hockey season! With this comes our preseason information for our Men's and Women's teams. Please note that CPL and Div 1 pre-season information has been confirmed. Sunday Super League, Platinum, Mid-Week Open, Grass and Junior grades are still to be confirmed. Please check back later for these.
