Congratulations to Ben Cox, Jake Goddard who were selected for year 7 development teams last weekend:
End of Season return of Player Uniforms
To all Parents/Guardians and Players,
As the season draws to a close, it is time to think about getting those uniforms back to the club in a timely manner so that we can source them easily again for next year.
To this end, please bring a change of clothes to your final game Saturday 20th August, so that you can return your sweaty, smelly uniforms to your team manager who will ensure that they are laundered and returned to the club as a team set.
Thank you all in anticipation.
Chocolate fundraiser 2016

With only two weeks left in the season please help us by bringing your Chocolate money to this Thursday night practice. Please remember your proceeds need to be returned to your Team manager in an envelope with your team name, personal name and total amount collected.

Hockey season subs
Just a reminder from Kurt; with only two weeks to go we need all subs paid please. All invoices were due on the 8th of July. It becomes a big job when we have to chase up individual people.
Fees can be paid into the same account as the chocolates but label as Hockey Subs
Next week we will be chasing individual people

Avon Hockey is running another of our fundraising fun Pub Quiz nights.
Sunday 21 August at 6.30pm

Senior Prize Giving
Avon Senior Hockey is having a more formal prize giving this year!!
They are having a sit down buffet dinner, with complementary bubbles on entry, with a three course meal.
Come along for what will be a memorable night!! When: Friday, 23 September 2016. 6:30pm start.
Where: Christchurch Football Club, Westminster St.
How Much: $40 a ticket.

It would be great to see our junior players who may be considering going up to Avon Youth or other senior teams in 2017 attending this
This is not the Junior prize giving but we have been invited to make up a junior table, so if you’re interested in going please let me know and we shall endeavour to get enough numbers to have our own table. This may be good for families leaving Junior Hockey this year but interested in joining a senior team next year.

Could Fun stick please bring a plate of goodies to share? Nothing that needs heating please. Also some drinks would be appreciated.
If some of the Fun stick parents could help with setting up that would be great. I should be on site around 4.15pm to get tables etc out.

Kiwi Stick Goalies:
Specialist Goalie training continues weekly on Thursday’s between 4.30pm – 5.00pm at Shirley boy’s high turf while there is interest. So all goalies in Kiwi and kwik sticks keep on coming down at 4.30 pm for an extra session
